This project is an expansion of a physical zine on denim. Expanding the physical zine into a bigger collective brand. Becoming a website for denim lovers who build upon community. Incorporating the zine’s interactive parts of flaps within pages into the website using digital interactivity. Showcasing a website behind the Denim zine.
This website expanded the zine in a way that made the zine become something bigger than when it started. Making several pages of this website allowed me to understand the multiple ways a single zine can be fleshed out into a brand system for a community and what they love and share upon. The website was a challenge when converting the zine’s interativeness and textured elements but was achieved through digital animations and digital textures replicating that theme.
